Our Simple Solution
Whilst we are working on the window we incorporate a brush-pile system of brushes around the sashes to stop those draughts.
We cut grooves into the sashes to incorporate the brushes. We place these on the bottom of the lower sash, on the middle rail where the two sashes meet, on the top of the upper sash and also on the sides. The brush pads are laid into the timber.
When finished, we will have completely surrounded the sashes with brush pile.
