A client was renovating a house which is a Protected Structure and asked our company to restore the original front door.

We stripped loose and defective paints off first and repaired damaged sections where needed.
Then we removed the door of the frame, routed the rebate to the top door and bottom door to accommodate new piles with brushes and supplied and fitted a parting bead to the door frame with seals to completely seal the door.
When the door was rehanged and realigned, we carefully hand-painted the door in Fleetwood Royal Ballet Blue colour and door surrounding in white colour all in High Gloss Finish, fitted new timber oak saddleboard and varnished in clear colour.
Finally, once the paints dried off, we fitted door knob, door knocker and letter plate in brass colour.

At the end, door is beautifully decorated, opening and closing easily and no more draughts!
